OCCA Foundational Apologetics in partnership

Join Max Jeganathan and Dan Lacich alongside the OCCA team, adjuncts and friends to explore the tough questions of our day and learn to have conversations about our faith.

For those unable to join one of our courses in a UK-timezone evening, we have teamed up with OCCA Associate Max Jeganathan and Dan Lacich, to run our Foundational Apologetics Course at a time more convenient to those elsewhere around the world. You'll explore all the same topics as our regularly run Foundational Course, with a new range of guest speakers joining for live discussion and questions. Please note that the speakers in the videos will generally not be the speaker leading the discussion.

Wednesdays, 7:30pm - 10:00pm (EDT) Starting August 20th 2025

FAQ

  • What is the format of the course?

We will meet online each week on Wednesdays, 7:30-10pm (Florida time). The time will start off with a devotional, followed by Q&A and discussion time based on the pre-recorded video watched in advance of the session. The second part of the evening will focus on a FAQ (frequent Apologetics Question) video exploring a second topic, with further time for discussion. We use breakout groups throughout the evening to facilitate discussion.

  • How is this course different from the regular OCCA Foundational Apologetics Course?

While the pre-recorded videos and format are much the same as the Foundational Apologetics Course run by OCCA team, the course will be led by OCCA associate Max Jeganathan and friend of the ministry Dan Lacich. Live sessions and discussions on this version will include additional guests rather than just the OCCA team. There will be limited live time with OCCA speakers.
